What’s the difference between a wedding planner and a day-of coordinator?
A wedding planner helps you design, organize, and manage your wedding from start to finish. A day-of coordinator steps in closer to the wedding date to finalize details, confirm vendors, and ensure everything runs smoothly on your big day. At Peace of Mind Events, I offer packages that meet you where you are in your planning process.
Who do you work with?
I work with couples and clients of all kinds to create seamless, stress-free events. At Peace of Mind Events, I welcome all love stories—including LGBTQ+ couples—and I collaborate with any vendors or venues that align with your vision and budget.
Why should I hire a coordinator if my venue has an on-site coordinator?
A venue coordinator focuses on the venue itself—things like catering, setup of tables and chairs, or venue rules. At Peace of Mind Events, I represent you. I manage all vendors, the timeline, your bridal party, and any last-minute details so you and your loved ones can relax and enjoy.
How far in advance should I book your services?
As soon as you know you’d like coordination! My calendar books up quickly, especially during peak wedding season. Even if your wedding is a year away, securing your date early guarantees you’ll have support from Peace of Mind Events when you need it.
Will you create a timeline for my wedding day?
Yes! I work closely with you and your vendors to create a detailed, realistic timeline so that every part of your day flows seamlessly. That’s one of the core services I provide at Peace of Mind Events.
How involved will you be in the planning process?
That depends on the package you choose. Some couples just want coordination in the final weeks, while others want ongoing support throughout the process. Either way, I’ll be as hands-on as you need through Peace of Mind Events.
Do you work with specific vendors?
I’m happy to recommend trusted vendors, but I don’t require you to work with a specific list. My goal at Peace of Mind Events is to help you find professionals that fit your style, budget, and vision.
Do you travel for events?
Yes! I serve weddings and events throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state area, and I’m open to traveling further depending on availability. I include travel to venues within 50 miles of Covington, KY at no additional cost. For weddings beyond that radius, I charge mileage ($0.67/mile) for the distance outside the 50-mile zone, and an accommodation fee if an overnight stay is needed. This ensures I arrive rested and fully focused on making your day stress-free and seamless.
How much do your services cost?
