Peace of Mind Events is Officially Live!

After months of dreaming, planning, and preparing, I’m so excited to share some big news: my new business, Peace of Mind Events, is officially live — and so is my website! 🎉

Where It All Began

My love for planning events started long before this business became real. As a young girl, I was always the one organizing theme parties for my friends — often inspired by the pages of the American Girl magazine. I loved watching the joy on people’s faces as they walked in and experienced the little details I had thought through. That moment when guests smile entering a space? That has always been my favorite part, and it still is today.

That passion continued as I grew up. When I turned 16, I co-planned a joint birthday party with a friend who shared the same birthday. Looking back, that celebration was my very first collaborative event, and I loved the process of working together to make it special for both of us. A couple of years later, I even helped plan my senior prom, which gave me the chance to see how larger-scale events come together. Each of these experiences deepened my love for creating unforgettable celebrations.

In high school, I worked at a reception hall that kept me close to weddings and milestone events. In college at Miami University, I joined the organization that planned events for the entire campus and eventually became the executive co-chair for their largest and most prestigious event: the Charter Day Ball, a celebration that only happens once every three years. Every step along the way added new skills and experiences that shaped the planner I am today.

Professional Experience

After graduation, I stepped into the corporate world and built a career with a national grocery retailer, where I spent nearly a decade. During that time, I gained invaluable experience in operations, leadership, and project management — skills that now allow me to bring structure and calm to even the most complex events.

Even in that busy career, I wanted to keep event planning — something I truly enjoyed — as part of my life. Within my teams, I volunteered to be the one to plan our biannual corporate outings, giving me yet another outlet to create meaningful experiences for others.

From Passion to Business

For years, I’ve been the “go-to” person among friends and family for weddings, showers, and milestone parties. Coordinating details, solving problems, and helping others feel calm and cared for came naturally to me. Eventually, I realized this wasn’t just something I loved doing — it was something I was meant to turn into a career.

That’s how Peace of Mind Events was born.

What I Offer

Through Peace of Mind Events, I provide planning and coordination for:

  • Weddings – day-of coordination, planning support, and related celebrations like showers, brunches, and vow renewals
  • Celebrations & Milestones – baby showers, birthdays, retirement parties, holiday gatherings, and more

My mission is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing that every detail is handled with care, so you can be fully present in your moments of joy.
